  23. Registration is always  a  difficult  process  if  the  author  of the
  24. program is in another country. This  is no excuse for not registering,
  25. but an understandable hassle. To try and  save you time and effort, we
  26. are setting up registration sites around the world.
  27.  
  28. How do you register? Send cash,  money  order  or cheque (check) to an
  29. appropriate registration point.
  30.  
  31. Costs. Most programs cost £5 ($10), with a special "package deal" cost
  32. of £20 ($40) for a key to register all S/e/m/a/j products available at
  33. the £5 cost. Currently, this includes FSUMM, AutoMsg, RaRcv, RaBitLoc,
  34. maybe some others I've forgotten (!). We plan on expanding this in the
  35. future. We will soon be releasing a QWK-compatible mail door.  This is
  36. a "standard" for  offline mail  readers, and is  supported by the most
  37. mail readers (SLMR, Session Manager, Qmail DeLuxe², EZ-Reader, etc...)
  38. This package will also include echomail software for PCBoard-style net
  39. works, for example ILink etc.  The registration cost of this will be a
  40. little higher as it is taking quite a bit of time to write. It costs a
  41. total of £10 ($20) for this program, or if you have bought an "all $10
  42. products" key, you can obtain this for £5 ($10).... *However* Only for
  43. people who have registered for a AllProducts key BEFORE THE END OF MAY
  44. 1991, you can obtain a MailAccess key at no extra charge.  To do this,
  45. send a netmail to James Berry, 2:440/16, then wait a few days and poll
  46. for your MailAccess (MAX) key. Currently, MAX is in alpha-testing, but
  47. it should be released for initial beta-testing within a few weeks.  If
  48. you have registered for an all products key, you will be able to catch
  49. a sneak preview of the Gamma Test release,  so you'll get a copy a few
  50. weeks before the program is released...
